A few things about me:

Born in Gimli, Manitoba I was raised an 'Air Force brat'.  This allowed the opportunity to live in many beautiful places across North America. My parents instilled in me, a respectful adoration for the outdoors through countless camping adventures and trekking paths less explored. I tend to see details, marvel at lighting and come away with a strong desire to reproduce what my mind's eye perceives.

I first held a brush with paint on it at the age of fourteen, and ever since paint has splattered nearly every piece of clothing I own. My eclectic body of work takes fine art inspiration from wild moody landscapes and this same moodiness shows up in my mixed media expressions.

Today I understand and enjoy the way I express how I see the world with a more rooted sense. I now wish to take this exploration to the next level. In 2009, my first ever art sale EVOKE, raised nearly four thousand dollars for the Vancouver General Hospital Burn Unit. Today I live in Squamish BC and endeavour to retain that spirited gratitude by continuing to create, share and give.
